Netflix has launched a new option that allows its subscribers to watch short "stories" of movies and series videos within the app. The feature called "Fast Laughs" is currently available on iOS devices and only in certain countries.
In terms of how it works, it is practically a version of TikTok. The content that can be shared in this feature is limited to Netflix shows on series, movies, etc. If you like any of the shows that a user has shared on Fast Laughs, you can add them after that to your list to watch later.
"We are always looking for new ways to entertain and make content discovery easier for subscribers," said Patrick Fleming, Netflix's director of product innovation, adding that Fast Laughs is a "new way to present content. With full-screen fun with clips from the large variety of Netflix content, starting with Movies, series, and more.
Spot Laughs can be shared via social networks and messaging services, and allow you to add new content to your playlist or play it at that time.
